Kevin Garrett's been impressing the pants off people for months now with his cool and collected soul-pop sound, and we can attest to this both through his material released online, and also his performances in live shows (we were lucky enough to have him at our CMJ showcase one week ago). It's been about a half a year since he's released anything new out into the online wild, though, and that's why we're so thrilled to see something new from him appear today. "Refuse" is the name of the new track that the New York resident has put forth, and, as a representation of his staying put, sonically speaking, it provides all the soothing vibes we've come to know and love him for. The effort certainly sits right in line with all his former releases, but, instead of lamenting that fact, we're simply overjoyed. Definitely check this one out below. [via NYLON]
