Between recent collaboration with Los Angeles-based KINGDM and consistently releasing dark, sensual, syrupy ballads, Kevin Garrett is slowly gaining popularity for his music. With this new track he is showcasing today, too, entitled "Precious", he proceeds to keep things rolling successfully about. The New York native sticks to the minimal production and falsetto-filled, James Vincent McMorrow-esque vocals that he is best known for here, and it fits well within the rest of his discography he has out. The hollow, empty vibe provided resonates seamlessly with the lyrics used, and, ultimately, all the components within work very well. It has been a while since we've gotten any material from him, but this single is definitely worth that wait.
