There's been an uptick in little-known artists constructing forward-thinking sounds, and while we're not entirely sure why that's been the case, we haven't exactly been lamenting the fact, either. As we see here with Sacramento-based beatmaker kev. and tracks "Questions" and "Evening News", we don't mind at all what comes about as a result. Assisted by neighboring vocalist NATEY on both efforts, the tracks are best described as smooth, soul-lit, and vocal-led electronic, and with fellow Californian emcee domino providing some lines on "Questions", too, there's certainly a lot to dive into here for listeners of several tastes.
