A couple of weeks ago on Twitter, DJ Premier let the world know that he was going to make a splash in 2014, putting in more work that we've seen in previous years. He made well on his promise with his Disclosure remix late last year, and now today we have this new remix of Kendra Morris' "Concrete Waves". Much like his "Latch" remix, this remix is not what you would expect. Besides the scratches, there's a very small hip-hop touch to it. You can definitely still hear the Premier sound all over the effort, though, but it's subtle, not overbearing; it's the perfect blend.
