Handbook just released his latest remix effort, and this time it's for Keeper's soul-inspired indie track, "Bad Doctor." The original is a fun track to listen to, but it's got a very vintage aesthetic, and the crackling static which breaks through the bass line on occasion makes it feel like you might as well be listening to song on a gramophone. For his own version, Handbook has stripped away all the nostalgia, and replaced it with a nicely paced electronic track that has some creative percussion. In fact, the Handbook remix feels more like an original with Keeper's vocals sampled in than a traditional re-work. While both tracks are a fun listen in their own right, Handbook has really stepped his game up with this one, and the off-beat angle he's taken on the parent track means this is definitely a keeper.
