"Grow Up" is the second single off of Sunday Dinner, the debut album from South Carolina-based singer-songwriter Keath Mead. Featuring classic-sounding guitars and swinging drums that recall previous eras of pop, "Grow Up" is a lilting, easygoing track that deals with the difficulties of growing into adulthood. As stated in the press release accompanying the single, this is a theme Keath explores much more fully on the album in full, too On the track at hand, Keath's sincere, unaffected vocals and rare songwriting talent make the well-worn topic feel like unexplored territory—a rare feat among songwriters—and certainly, "Grow Up" is an impressive effort in its own right.
