Kaytranada's two-track EP, At All / Hilarity Duff, underwent its official release today through label HW&W, and we'd like to share with you our favorite of the two efforts, the cleverly titled "Hilarity Duff"; (we're not sure if this is a dig at the actress/singer-songwriter, or simply a lighthearted play on words [though we'll assume the latter to be the case]). In any event, "Hilarity Duff" bangs, but it does so in a creative and constrained way, never getting carried away with the funky, electronic elements Kaytranada injects into the song; it's expressive without being aggressive, conveying it's sophistication in a mannered, easily digestible fashion. While you listen to the track below, peep the dates and destinations for Kaytranada's "No Peer Pressure" tour, beginning in San Jose on October 18.
