Collar Up

Kate Miller's previous effort, "Fortify", may have flown under the radar, but if she keeps dropping material like her latest, "Collar Up", there's no doubt her music is going to inch towards radio play and mainstream success. Sure, she's not the kind of artist that's going to get press from hype-infused articles, gossip columns, what she's wearing, or who's she's dating, but her music will be around, and it'll be around enough to get people flocking to her enjoyable and accessible sound. Based on the cover art used for "Fortify" and "Collar Up", it looks like Kate might be gearing up to release a longer body of work of some sort, and if that's the case, you'll definitely want to give it some attention. For now, however, you'll want to spend time time with her picturesque piece of alternative-pop below. EDIT: The aforementioned "longer body of work" is, in fact, a debut EP from Kate. It's called Neophyte, and is scheduled for a September 29th release through Karma Artists.
