Berlin-based vocalist Kat Vinter certainly took us aback with her recently released project, Islands, and, while it followed a highly evocative tone we love, today, we're highlighting a mellowed remake of the EP-titled track courtesy of newcomers Adior. They're completely foreign from a social media standpoint as of now, but that's far from our focus, as their inaugural effort is unquestionably captivating from start to finish. Possessing a faintly upbeat, immensely chilled-out sound, the act brilliantly refashions Vinter's vocals and overhauls the original's aura by injecting a hefty amount of sonic exuberance. Gorgeous, deeply oscillated synths and break-filled drums give the piece an unexpected, supremely radiant essence and an untiring structure overall, making for an incredibly fresh listen.
