If you’re on the hunt for a big-sounding, pop-infused bout of bass-infused trap music (yes, we just used that description), look no further than the Kassandra Nunes’ “Show Me Love.” Although it appears that the Canadian has been in the business for quite some time, unfortunately, her work has just recently surfaced (from our perspective, of course), but it's better now than never, right? Either way, we're going to have to take a late pass with the track, because it needs to be shared. Now, just a few months ago, we showcased Canadian trap-pop act Once A Tree and their single, “Howling”—marveling at its addicting, undulating synths and unusual style that scored serious points for the up-and-coming Canadian music scene (within the specified realm of sound)—and the above effort from Kassandra, while mildly paralleling the work of its local counterpart, carries with it a more ethereal, bass-crushing take on the genre, and we love it. Though this may be the first taste of Kassandra Nunes you've seen here on HD, we venture to say that it won't be the last. If she continues providing us with pieces of this caliber, she'll soon be rising alongside other large-sounding acts to the top of the Canadian music scene.
