Don't ask us about Kappa Kavi's cover art for "Chokoreto Rabu", because we can't even begin to explain the kind of vibe he's going for with the images involved (that pop-up message on the bottom-left corner is also something to behold). It's infinitely easier to identify which artist wielded the most influence on the Dutch producer's sound here, however, and honestly, "Chokoreto Rabu" sounds like something that Cashmere Cat would not only create, but have as a bonus track from his recently released Wedding Bells EP (we can't help but see it placed between "Wedding Bells" and "Rice Rain" on the tracklist). That's not to say that Kappa refrains from adding his own elements to the track, though; his myriad inclusions make for some truly elated electronic, and as the effort unwinds, so too does the sonic euphoria. So while you may want to berate the producer for his seemingly stolen style, know that its done in good taste, and that the track itself is something to enjoy and appreciate as well.
