K.S. Rhoads is a fairly well hidden quality, though somewhat prototypical, indie-folk singer-songwriter whose upcoming EP "The Wilderness" I expect will be well-received among listeners of that genre. HOWEVER, one of the pre-released singles from the album, Harvest, veers slightly from his standard sound and has that je ne sais quoi that will make it appeal to fans of any genre. Rhoads achieves this by mixing his regular sound with a bit of old-style western / blues sound (think Quentin Tarantino movie Soundtrack). Just wait till the whistling kicks in.
