K.Flay is one of our favorite alternative-pop artists out, and Aire Atlantica, too, is a favorite we've become familiar with this year. Earlier, the former signed a deal with Imagine Dragons' lead singer, Dan Reynolds, through Interscope Records and released a new EP, and, from it, we took seriously to "Blood In The Cut". Apparently, we weren't the only ones, though, as the producer has released an official remix of the single today. "Blood In The Cut" didn't need any sonic heightening. It's a powerful, appealing single that's done very well, but, with the right touch here, it's become something even more. Aire Atlantica, of course, is one of the fastest-rising, most in-demand producers out, and his electronic touches here affect the track remarkably well. Following an awesome Billie Eilish remix, too, we suspect the guy's number will only continue to be punched when big remixes from up-and-coming artists are needed. He'll surely provide for them well.
