You don't have to like Justin Bieber to like the things that can be done to his songs, and you don't have to hate what efforts incorporate his voice, simply because it's his voice. There's something to be said for experimentation in wake of inevitable, and perhaps bottomless, criticism, and for that, we give Jeftuz and his overarching Soulection crew much respect. "Hold Tight" is the second Bieber track remixed by the producer from The Netherlands, and it's every bit as infectious as the first. A slew of sprightly percussive inclusions punctuates the track, allowing the preexisting vocals to weave in and out of the enhancing sonic elements at Jeftuz's artistic discretion. It's another successful R&B flip for the producer whose been unafraid to tamper with the sound of some of the music industry's most scorned artists, and we've got to again give props for what intriguing creations he's been able to concoct amidst the undue criticism him and his team have been receiving.
