After a long and exhausting day at work, there is nothing I enjoy more than heading home, putting my headphones on, and becoming completely immersed in my current musical infatuations. Today's auditory escapism is pure electronic bliss courtesy of French producer, Jumo. His "Aperture" track is almost experimental in its execution, an intriguing evolution of deconstructed, watery percussion, flickering synthesizers, and guttural, digitalised vocals. Jumo keeps the aperture wide, so to speak, allowing the uncollimated aural elements to diffuse across this sensory film, capturing a moment in time that is unique and truly captivating.
