So, this isn't the same Julius covering Omarion's "Post To Be" that we posted about one month ago, but he's just as pleasurable-sounding, and that's all we care about. This Julius happens to live on the opposite coast (the former is in New York), and his sound sits toward the opposite side of the sound spectrum as well. Whereas the New Yorker had a more heart-filling pop sound with his effort, the Los Angeles resident here includes more of a conspicuously soulful edge and unique lyrical base (there aren't many artists singing about being disappointed in others). With "Disappointed", the track that looks to be the first legitimate one from the West Coast artist (the other two on his page are phone-recorded voice memos, it appears), he unveils quite a startlingly smooth voice that we hear coupled with a high-reaching tone. The instrumental behind him is nice and light, and that fact really allows him to be able to shine terrifically atop it. "Disappointed" is about as impressively radiant as songs come, and we think many more like it will come from Julius soon.
