Every so often a new group is unveiled to the world, and instead of opting for the slow ascent, they come out swinging. In the last year alone we've seen names like Vaults, Fickle Friends, Wet, and AYER come out of nowhere with a full-formed sound that felt thought out and effortless. And as of a couple weeks ago, we've another name to add to that list, because London-based trio, JUICE, has just released their first song as a band, and with it, a message that their music is seriously on point. "Call You Out" is the name of the effort, and it's a funk-driven indie-pop track with amazing vocals and production that is second to none. The band is made up of Georgia, Chalin, and Cherish, and since all three seem to have a comparable amount of talent when it comes to vocals, certain sections of the song are just pure magic when all three ladies lend their voices to the mix at the same time. Even though they clearly have their own sound, the group's dynamic seems to follow in the footsteps of other, more established, all female groups (HAIM comes to mind almost instantly), but that's definitely not a bad thing. JUCE has themselves figured out, and their music speaks to the fact.
