We understand that the trend in music has been to post tracks with an attractive female in the accompanying "art" or picture or whatever, but we swear that that's not the why we've chosen to share this remix of Josef Salvat's glamorous single "Hustler" with you. What producers Cri$p and Manja lend to the sleek and sensual track is a more suspenseful pace, offering blasting bass overtop the haunting keys remaining faintly from the original work. Salvat's poignant lyricism does not get swept underneath the sonic rug laid out by the two, though; it shines as brightly as before, only intermittently this time around, which is, of course, to be expected with a remix. Ultimately, the reimagined "Hustler" by Cri$p x Manja succeeds in alluring listeners of both Salvat, and bass music in general. And it's that kind of appeal that makes it every bit as bold and beautiful as the spectacular original.
