Jordan Rakei has emerged as one of the most promising soul vocalists over the past couple of years. He's released a smattering of suave tunes of his own, featured on numerous high-profile artists and acts' works, and is now gearing up to release a new album. It promises to be a soothing body of work, and today, we get first single "The Light" from it to enjoy. "The Light" wastes absolutely no time in getting into the soulful, slightly groovy sonic roots that has made Jordan such a pleasure to listen to. He utilizes myriad instruments to work with his own spectacular voice, and, as has happened so many times before, he creates a stunningly sweet and smooth experience as a result. We dig it a ton.
