Fresh off of his shout-out from Sam Smith on twitter, Jordan Rakei is back with a new track, proving that even without acknowledgement from the top names in his field, he has the chops to become a big and extremely well-respected artist. "Maya", the name of his fresh effort, appears to be of the one-off variety, but with production from Kiran Kai here, you're going to hope that these two connect more than once. Together with what seductive and almost aquatic-like sounds are employed, Jordan's smooth vocals are to die for, as they so often seem to be. Appreciate this track regardless of the greater context it falls within, and, again, hope that these two continue working together and creating similarly enrapturing sounds.
