If you keep up to date with electronic music, you might recognize the name Joni Fatora from SoySauce's most recent track, "Broken Record". Today, however, we've a brand-new single from the 22-year-old Brooklyn songstress that strays far from the electronic scene. Instead, "Blueless Bird" possesses a warm and gentle indie sound that lulls us off to reveries of beaches and sunshine. Fatora's voice is soft as a cloud and sweet as sugar, and the instrumentation that surrounds it fits her vocals ideally. Responsible for the track's production is Noise Club, a Brooklyn pair that we've been getting very familiar with lately (we've recently posted their work on "Nine Matches" and "My Love"), and while their previous works have been electronically oriented, they've adopted an acoustic sound this time around with breezy guitar strums and pleasant-sounding drums. "Blueless Bird" is the first single from Joni Fatora's upcoming EP, Navigator, which is expected to be released in March, so be sure to keep an ear out for the project if you enjoy her track here.
