If there was going to be one album that surprised you the most this year, we would have to say the new album from John Wizards would be it. Just as a heads up though, it's not the kind of surprised that will make the South African act your new favorite band, it's more like that feeling you get from discovering a new sound that you have never heard before. As far as 'discovering' goes, stumbling into the auric playing field of John Wizards on their self-titled debut album is as memorable as it is enjoyable. From the contant push of unique sounds and multifarious melodies, running through this album is going to make you want to drop everything and lose every care imaginable.
