You all may recognize John's name and uniquely amazing voice from his many cameos for Rudimental. Well it sounds like after being just a "featuring" for so long with Rudimental, he has taken a page from their drum and bass book and brought it back to his own work. The beautiful difference between "Love Me Again" and anything he has done with Rudimental is that now instead of electronically fabricated noises accompanying his roaring vocals, we have a full real orchestra and the drum and bass is beaten out by a real drummer using real drums. The sound created when real instruments are used just feels so much bigger. Perhaps its because the listener can visualize everyone playing, or it may just be human to have an deep subconscious affinity for music played by manually by real people, but whatever it is, John Newman's "Love Me Again" is a hit.
