Bostonian johan dropped his debut single, "danger_us", a couple months back to much acclaim by blogs and music junkies alike, and, if you are like us, those three minutes of music were simply not enough to satiate our newfound obsession with him, so we're excited he's let us have a second taste of what he's been cooking up. "Stard(us)t" uses the same unorthodox titling format as his first track, but the music, itself, is anything but haphazard. Yes, it's experimental a bit, but give it a listen, and its pulsing bassline and poetic symmetry of lyrics is more than enough evidence that johan has put thought and energy into the work. We recommend blasting the track when you're in need of a midday pick-me-up (the thumping power in the chorus will work like a charm), but, really, it's a good enough track to be enjoyed at pretty much all hours of the day.
