We've been following Johan Lenox for years, and he has consistently brought the kind of musicality to his work that makes him stand out as both a producer and solo artist. His newest EP, cancel the party, expresses this, and, inspired by coming-of-age experiences in suburban Massachusetts, the entire project, aside from the drums and vocals, was made from live classical instruments playing parts composed on sheet music.
