Joel Compass is on his way to superstardom, without question, and it's remixes like this one that add the cherry on top of his unstoppable growth. The up-and-coming R&B star's music on its own is already pretty powerful, so a remix isn't necessary to change the sonic complexion for the better, but what the Edinburgh-based producer ,Hostage, did here is definitely worthy of the time and effort that was put forth. With classical-sounding, bouncy house-synths, we're given a familiar-sounding remix, but one that fits the mould of the original perfectly. [via Earmilk]
