We've learned over the past year or so that Joe Hertz's name ought to be among those mentioned as London's best up-and-coming. He's secured big remixes and has made some nice original tracks as well, and, though it has been a few months since his name has been cast in the public light, we see him back in prominence today with a very rad, very smooth new vocalist-featured tune that's premiered with Annie Mac. "Tied Up" is the name of the number out, and, in addition to harboring the talents of the producer, himself, we have the pleasure of hearing HUNTAR, another artist we love, do his thing on it as well. His inclusion really does help make the effort jump out, but it's the chemistry they both share that really makes it stick. There's an instrument-rich backing for the latter individual to sing spiritedly over, and, when the track's chorus hits, a wave of groovy energy flows necessarily as a result. "Tied Up" has, interestingly, a nature conducive both to dance and more emotional times, and, its versatility in that regard ensures it has reason to almost always be played.
