Within JMSN's last album, It is., he fully embraced a soulful, bluesy sound while steering clear of any synth-based or electronic instrumentation. We enjoyed this new sonic direction, and we're happy that, already—not even a year after releasing that—he is back with a new single in "Drinkin'". The track builds off songs like "Cruel Intentions" from his last album, and we're ecstatic to hear him carrying forth his style in this stripped-down way. "Drinkin'" is the first single from JMSN's forthcoming album, Whatever Makes You Happy, and that's scheduled for release April 28 via his label, White Room Records.
