We've been supporters of Nashville aritst JMR for some time now, and, last year we got to see his creative songwriting and unique production accumulate into stellar debut EP Ritual. Although he's been quiet since then, he just announced his return a few weeks ago with "Bound" and again a few days ago with "June Carter". Both tracks presented an even more coherent and fully developed sound from him, and, now, we're hearing more of the same throughout his new EP, Boyish. Boyish is anything but a lighthearted project. The self-described "lonely ensemble" dives into deeper territory than we have heard from the artist before, and, because of that, his songwriting has become even more distinctive and enticing.
