It's been just over a year since JMR released his incredible Ritual EP, and he's been pretty quiet in the time that's passed since. That changes today, however, as we're premiering his new single, “Bound”, which, with, he's showing he's not messing around. Our first reintroduction to the man comes by the powerful statement of his opening croon—one which merges with a bass-pitch harmony that feels almost ethereal as a lighter guitar melody kick in. As the track continues, the production, itself, remains fairly minimal, populated only with only minor synth arrangements and a simple, yet effective percussion track, and all highlight the true star which is JMR’s absolutely breathtaking vocal take. Anyone who's come across his music knows he can sing, but this release is indicative of his confidence in his own abilities, and his music is all the better for it.
