Possessing all the characteristics of a prominent artist in today's vast music space, it's surprising that Jimi Charles Moody is still a secret to many, but that's far from halting his progress, as his newest single, "The Woman", yet again exposes his thoroughly rustic style. Serving as the inauguration to his first EP, the London singer dedicates this number to a lost lover with whom he didn't seem to get across the last word. Thrusted by the aforementioned sentiments, Moody delivers audacious verses with a subtlety calm demeanor, and alongside blues-inspired instrumentation, a melancholic edge is also added in. While JMC continues to find the right ears to his music, we're quite confident that he'll emerge soon enough, and that this track here will play a large factor into that.
