Hot topic in any discussion on the flourishing beat scene in Montreal (and favorite at HD), Kaytranada, just recently surrendered a new remix on Soundcloud. This time the musical reverence is towards the great R&B/soul songstress Jill Scott. On his remix of "Golden" - one that isn't too far from the original beat mix - Kaytranada employs crisp tenor drums, a funky bass line and some low-key synth support. Though upped with regards to tempo, the soul hasn't gone anywhere. Check this out and download fer free.
