For almost five years, Jez Dior has lived at the intersection of hip-hop and rock, and on his newest project, the five-track Youthanasia EP, he continues to explore this fusion. On opening track "Separated", Dior dissects how his destructive lifestyle has tainted his relationship with his girlfriend's family, and he does so with rap cadences on the verses and a hook that could have easily found a place on The Neighbourhood's most recent album. The song effectively introduces the concept of the new project, which is basically how the youthful tendencies of the now-24-year-old rapper can be toxic if he fails to outgrow them, and he gives with it a good reason to check every effort on the project of his out (you can do so HERE).
