Los Angeles' TOKiMONSTA has been a force for quite a few years now (her earliest EP dates back to 2008), and while in Copenhagen recently, she met up with one of our favorite singers, Jessie Ware, to share her remix of Ware's song, "Keep On Lying". The original track appeared on her recently released album, Tough Love, but now TOKiMONSTA's spin is giving us a new excuse to listen to it all over again. The remix meshes elements of hip-hop, fast-paced club music, and both the lighter and heavier sides of electronic. One moment you'll hear some bubbly synths, while the next you'll be slammed with wave of grand brass instruments and cymbal hits. TOKiMONSTA also does a good deal of work on the vocals, which are pitch-shifted to add a darker sound to the piece.
