Jesse Boykins III has become a favourite for artists to remix due to his crystalline vocal skills. This song in particular has had its fair share of reworks but no one could have foreseen "The Perfect Blues" sounding the way Esperanza has crafted it. A couple days ago we were given a "world" style tune given an electronic, modern slant by Flume. Now, today we are given a melodic, electronic tune given a world slant. It begins with a pulsating foreboding bassline that sets the tone and becomes the foundation for the track.
