We've heard the gist of Jaymes Young's upcoming EP, Habits of the Heart, already, but today, we're given a new piece of the project, "What Should I Do", that's as pleasurably peppy as any of the Los Angeles artist's works. A smattering of elements makes this the case (driving keys, drums, electronic nuances, etc.), and of course, Jaymes' quality tone and cadence rest spiritedly atop. It's worth noting that Jaymes, himself, has a hand in the production, and there's no doubt that that fact affords the effort its whole-sounding feel. There's an extraordinary amiability to the track, to be sure, and we think you'll take an instant liking to it as a result. There's only one more effort ("I'll Be Good") to be released from Jaymes' EP, and based on those we've now heard (including "What Should I Do"), it's sure to be a good one. Pre-order Habits of my Heart now on iTunes.
