The Watcher Pt. 2" ft. Dr. Dre, Rakim & Truth Hurts [Throwback Tuesday]

Usually with our throwback posts we try to surprise you with the most obscure songs we could possibly dig up. But today, eff that, because when I was digging through some old mix cds, this song came up and instantly a wave of nostalgia shot through my brain. 2002 was the year that Jay-Z's 7th studio album (The Blueprint²: The Gift & The Curse) dropped. It was an era of Jay-Z that was far better than the Jay-Z we see today. "The Watcher Pt. 2" was a highly heralded track in 2002 that featured massive guests spots from Dr. Dre & Rakim. The monster production on this track was also provided by a Dr. Dre who was in tip-top form during this time. Take a re-visit to 2002 below.
