It's been a few months since breakout act Javeon has released new solo material, but his body of work is so impressive, that the delay in new stuff doesn't really matter at all. Today, he's back with "Show Me Something", a departure from his previous, dance-infused efforts like "Intoxicated" and Cyril Hahn-assisted "Breaking". "Show Me Something", rather, is a garage-influenced R&B track that props Javeon's mesmerizing vocals atop minimal, drum-soaked production. The influence on it draws from music from the '80s, but it remains entrenched in current musical trends with its inclusion of a huge line of bass and a signature electronic vibe. "Show Me Something" is a cut off Javeon's forthcoming Formation EP, and you're encouraged to look for that coming up. [via EARMILK]
