Light Out

Sometimes you see un-favorable reviews/ratings on albums and it usually makes you veer away from purchasing that album or even bother taking time to hear it. That sucks for everyone involved because sometimes you miss hidden those hidden gems. Sure not every single track on every album ever made is going to appeal to everyone, we get that, but sometimes those poorly rated albums will have a 1-3 great tracks that really need to be heard. Take Hi Beams for example, it received a few mediocre ratings and reviews on the net, so chances are if you're not already a fan, you will probably be skipping out in it. That right there will have you missing out on so much music. Who cares if the album didn't live up to your expectations on the whole. Why not take your favorite songs, single them out and let them be the experience instead of worrying about the album as the whole. I get that albums are the medium and so much of the focus is on that, but why don't we just turn our attention on the good and forget the un-desirables? If you take "Light Out", "The Stars" & "Nnormal" (or whatever your favorites are), isolate them and enjoy the shit out of them, what the hell is wrong with that? NOTHING! Hi Beams is available on itunes right now.
