Today, we're very pleased to introduce you to JATA, a completely new act who's arriving on the scene with one stellar debut single. He's a Berlin-based artist with plenty of prior musical experience, but he's never really decided to pursue a solo career until recently. Now, however, he's here with his first-ever song, "The Curse", and it's the type of warmly layered, synth-soaked music that we have no trouble getting behind. JATA has spent much of his past DJing, beat-making, and producing with others, and all the skill he's acquired over the years shines through his debut. He's managed to make the entire song seem to wave in and out, not at a head-aching level, but in a smooth, hypnotic way. However, for one whose past lies primarily in production, he certainly holds his own when it comes to vocals as well. It appears that JATA has really found quite a nice sound for himself, and we're excited to hear what more comes from his project in the times to come.
