Jarryd James, yet another exceptionally gifted Australian singer, made a strong first impression with tracks like "Do You Remember" and "Give Me Something". He's been working with Joel Little (Lorde, BROODS) on honing his distinctive sound, and, finally, we can hear the result of their collaborations, as Jarryd's self-titled debut EP was just released earlier today. Easily one of the best new tracks off the EP is "This Time (Serious Symptoms, Simple Solutions)", a verbosely titled track, admittedly, but one that's breathtakingly beautiful as the slow-burn, string-adorned ballad it is.
