Deep below the surface of the Swedish pop scene lies producer-songwriter Jape and the headlining track from his latest LP release, “Seance of Light”. Though it has been a minute since its release, we’re glad we’ve now come upon its uplifting electronic notes, because it's one of those tracks that elevates to a state of pure excitement. Though being one of the first offerings from the Swede that we’ve taken a liking to over the past few years, there’s a clear momentum found in “Seance of Light”—one upheld by smooth, reverb-heavy vocals and bright and choppy synths— that carries the potential to propel the artist’s avant-garde style to new heights in 2015 and beyond.
