There's no questioning the fact that 18-year-old Australian producer Japanese Wallpaper has a special talent for music production. We've heard this sentiment echoed time and time again with the likes of previously released tracks "Breathe In", "Between Friends", and "Waves", and really, there's no end in sight to our being impressed with the artist. He's not trying to win anyone over with Flume-influenced production like so many of his compatriots are, nor is the type of music he's putting out merely hype-worthy and forgettable in years' time; he's instead a sound that's all his his own, one that's elegantly tame and yet always expansive—and attractive—enough. Today, Gab Strum (Japanese Wallpaper) is at his magical ways once again, and this time around, he's brought along Airling, another accomplished artist from the land, for the sonic endeavor. Alongside the gorgeous production at hand here, they've combined forces for one truly remarkable track in "Forces" (it's as if they had this planned all along). As one might expect, the offerings is another stellar one in Gab's repertoire, and we think it'll do wonders for generating excitement for his upcoming debut EP that's to be out this May.
