Ever since we heard Jane Tyrell singing with The Herd, collaborating with Horrorshow, and, especially the hook and verse she sang on Urthboy's now summer classic, "Shruggin", we've been waiting forever for Jane to release solo material. And, wouldn't you know it, we get the news we've been low-key waiting for, as the Melbourne-based vocalist is releasing her new single, "Wild Waters". Whereas all Jane's previously released features were mainly with hip-hop acts, "Wild Waters" sees her forging her own sound, as the track takes us through quite the gorgeous atmosphere with sostenuto piano keys tip-toeing around shuffling percussion, and slow guitar builds foraging around in the background adding to the sheer elegance that is this bold effort.
