A track like "Islands" is what you could call "mood-pop". You're probably not going to want to toss it on at a party or early in the morning, but as the night nears and you find yourself in the company of few. The shadowy, dense textures that come attached are handled magnificently by JAMIE HAJ (production) and Samara (vocals), and one's led to believe while listening to the nocturnal track that more work from the two would result in stunning success.
