If James was to ask our opinion on who would be the best to remix his work, we would suggest Soulection producer Atu instantly, but as we find out here, JVM doesn't need our input, because his music-matching game is clearly on point as the producer is seen to have remixed his Post Tropical-featuring track, "Glacier". As we've heard immeasurable times in the past with Atu's work, the Ann Arbor individual has a way with creating the most incredibly sumptuous atmospheres no matter the sourced material he uses, and, as we see here on his interpretation of James' track, he employs trademarked textures of his to match the sweetly sounding vocals of the former individual. By adding in additional synth work and mood-setting percussion, too, Atu is able to build on the original with extra kinds of downtempo zest, and, as a result, he's another of his exceptionally spirited, really quite graceful sounds to bestow upon us, and all fans of his and James' work.
