James is a curious beast. A creator of beautiful Irish folk, you have probably inadvertently caught his tunes on various television dramas (read: One Tree Hill, Parenthood, et. al). Although his music was crafted with grace and elegance, it seemed destined to remain as "Grey's Anatomy" fodder. Imagine our surprise, then, when he dropped the new single "Cavalier" earlier this week. A song which leaves the folk world well and truly behind and takes us on a sensual slow jam through its four and a half minute length. A promising sign of things to come.
