Earlier, Nashville's James Droll impressed us with single "Wall", and, now, he has succeeded again with "Jacket Weather", a piece with a markedly darker and angrier tone. The trait that makes these songs work well is that Droll puts the lyrics first without it feeling like he's sacrificing the music for them. Like popular contemporaries Lorde and Sam Smith, he's making catchy music that retains a respect for words and the art of writing. Catch "Jacket Weather" below, and keep looking for more.
