At this point, we have no idea how one couldn't love Jakubi. Their music makes you feel good, it's accessible, addicting, and at the same time, has absolutely zero cheese factoring into it (it's all legit). We've been calling the group a serious dark horse candidate for surprising the music world in the next two years (we really think they have huge potential), and though they only have a handful of tracks out right now (their official album or EP has yet to been released), they're not stopping with the excellent music-making. We premiered their latest single, "Couch Potato", two months ago, and it's since gone on to rack up over 300,000 plays on SoundCloud alone, but now furthering their appeal is their fun-in-the-sun visual for the track that's sees a nice-looking girl riding a couch down a street in Melbourne as it picks up friends along the way. The inviting sense you get from the video is the same evoked from their music, and once the masses finally hear (and now, see) what Jakubi has to offer, its game over for any semblance of obscurity.
