JAHKOY gave us a sexy, pop-laden hit in "Hold Your Hand" four months ago, but he's back now to reveal his darker, conflicting shades in "Odd Future", a track just premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show earlier today. With the help of Canadian-Nigerian female producer Wondagurl, the trending R&B artist (and newest Def Jam artist, we might add) teeters on both sides of the relationship line as he effortlessly croons along, and he really works through the emotional dichotomy manifesting itself within the effort's last, passionately rapped lines as well. JAHKOY's been known to do both terrifically in the past, and it's good to see him doing it all here again as well.
